HOW TO STORE IT
By: FOOD DRINK LIFE
01
Champagnes are already aged. Keep non-vintage wine unopened for 3 to 5 years, and vintage sparkling wines for 5 to 10 years.
02
Sparkling wines like cremant and cava can be treated the same as champagne, but drink prosecco within 6 to 12 months of purchase.
03
Keep the bottles in a horizontal position instead of upright, in a cool, dry place. Only store it in the fridge for a few months as the air can dry it out.
04
Champagne is best stored in the range of 50 F to 56 F. Higher temps affect flavor and colder temps can make it go flat.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR
No bubbles? It's gone flat.
If it tastes sour, it's likely expired.
If it smells musty, it's probably bad.
05
Store unopened bottles in a cool dry, dark place.
06
Drink it right away and keep it in an ice bucket or use a champagne bottle stopper.
