How to Store Garlic

Temperature, humidity and air circulation are the most important factors in storing garlic.

Garlic is a nutritional powerhouse. Proper storage will allow you to benefit from it's nutritional benefits.

Whole garlic should be stored in a cool, dark, and well-ventilated place.

Whole bulbs will last for 3-5 months.

Individual cloves will last 1 month if they are unpeeled.

Peeled cloves should be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Minced garlic should be covered with oil and stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

You can also freeze peeled or chopped garlic. It can last for 6-12 months in the freezer.

Properly stored garlic will be the star in many recipes!
