A new beach retreat on Hilton Head Island plans part of the weekend around your birth chart. Your zodiac sign decides what goes in your gift bag, and a personal chart reading is on the schedule. The astrologer running the sessions has worked with a few famous names.
Celebrity astrologer and author Aliza Kelly hosts The Sonesta Astrology Experience at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. Sonesta Hotels, Resorts & Cruises says travelers want more personal getaways than a standard spa weekend, so it teamed up with Kelly to create one. Guests split their days between her sessions and free time on the coast.

Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island hosts the retreat Nov. 20-22 on its 11 acres of beachfront, with check-in starting at 4 p.m. The three-day, two-night wellness retreat is open to guests 21 and older. The retreat package covers two nights in a room and daily breakfast.
What Kelly Brings to the Weekend
Kelly leads alignment workshops, manifestation practice and personal chart readings over the weekend. Her Welcome Cosmic Alignment Workshop opens the first day, and she also guides a meditation session. The second day mixes more astrology sessions and individual readings with unscheduled downtime.
Kelly wrote the books “This Is Your Destiny” and “It’s All Magic.” The resort credits her with making astrology and modern spirituality approachable and says she has worked with stars including Drew Barrymore. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times.
Sunrise Yoga and Gifts Matched to Your Sign
The first day wraps up with a Celestial Happy Hour after Kelly’s workshop. Sunrise yoga on the beach starts the second morning, and the Earth & Water multi-course dinner closes out that night. The last morning leaves time for breakfast and some reflection before checkout.
Each participant finds a gift bag in the room with wellness keepsakes matched to their zodiac sign. The company says it designed the keepsakes specifically for this retreat.
The Spa at Sonesta, the resort’s spa, offers astrology-inspired treatments built around zodiac signs and moon phases. The spa also offers traditional massages and facials. Spa visits sit outside the retreat package and may cost extra, and the same goes for bike rentals and nearby golf.
What the Weekend Costs
One participant pays about $700 per room, per night, plus taxes, and a companion who skips the sessions can share the room. Two participants pay about $1,300 per night. If you’re new to astrology, the resort says you don’t need any experience with astrology or yoga, and you can talk through movement modifications with the retreat team before you book.
