Ocean Eden Bay, an adults-only resort in Jamaica, has a new name and a new promise for its guests. As Ocean Allure Eden Bay, it says every guest now gets concierge help, no matter which room they book.
Parent company Ocean Signature Resorts announced the official opening under the new name on Nov. 2. The resort is part of the company’s Ocean Allure collection, and guests must be 18 or older. It sits on the coast in Trelawny, 40 minutes from the Montego Bay airport and close to historic Falmouth.
Concierge Service Covers Every Suite
Ocean Allure Eden Bay has 444 suites, and Ocean Signature Resorts says the concierge service covers all of them. You can ask the concierge to plan an itinerary or book a private dinner or a spa treatment.
In-suite dining runs 24 hours a day, and valet parking is available. Check-in starts with a chilled glass of house champagne.
A Dinner Show Built Around Bob Marley
One of the new programs at the resort is the Senses Dinner Show: Soul of Jamaica. It pairs dinner with a live theatrical production that honors Bob Marley’s musical legacy.
Specialty restaurants range from Japanese teppanyaki and sushi to The Steak House, and you’ll also find Italian, Mexican, French and Jamaican menus. The Lobby Bar and the Beach Bar pour cocktails, and night-owl menus mean you can get food at any hour.
Adults Only, With a Water Park Next Door
Ocean Boulevard, a pedestrian avenue through the middle of the resort, brings dining and nightlife together in one place. It’s also where the resort stages live performances.
Even though this is an adults-only resort, you can use the bowling alley, water park and lazy river at Ocean Coral Spring, the property next door. At Ocean Allure Eden Bay itself, the Despacio Spa Centre by Etra has hydrotherapy circuits and Finnish saunas.
What the Privilege Upgrade Adds
Guests who book the resort’s Privilege tier get extras in the room, including an espresso machine, a pillow menu, premium linens and nightly turndown service.
Dining perks include priority reservations at the à la carte restaurants and access to the oceanfront Privilege Restaurant and a private lounge. Privilege guests also get their own beach and pool areas with butler service, and staff restock their minibars with premium spirits every day.
Start With the Suite Type
If you’re comparing rooms, look at the suite types before the add-ons. Swim-Up Suites give you direct access to the water, and Master Suites add a separate living room. Junior Suites look out over the ocean or the pool, and the bi-level Rooftop Suites come with a private outdoor hot tub and an oceanfront lounge deck.
