Rachael Ray is the newest name on the Chefs Making Waves 2027 lineup, a culinary vacation sailing from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, next April. She’ll share the ship with three stars of “The Chew,” and they’re planning something on board that guests get to watch up close.

“Some of my favorite moments have been around a table, sharing good food with great people, and that’s what I’m looking forward to with Chefs Making Waves,” Ray said. She added that spending multiple days together gives you “time to swap stories, talk about what you’re cooking at home and get to know each other beyond a recipe or a demonstration.”
Who’s Producing the Sailing
Sixthman, which produces the sailing with a21 and EBG, has run themed cruises and resort vacations since 2001. The company said it has hosted more than 495,000 guests on more than 215 vacations in that time. The 2027 Chefs Making Waves sailing runs April 20-24.
Jeff Cuellar, Sixthman’s CEO, said the company wants guests “to feel cared for and have opportunities to connect with their favorite culinary personalities.” He said sharing meals and conversations “is how that community takes shape.”
Watch ‘Chewed Up’ Tape Live
Carla Hall and Michael Symon host “Chewed Up” with Clinton Kelly, and the show reunites the Emmy Award-winning stars of “The Chew.” The cooking and conversation series brings them together for approachable recipes, lively debates and candid stories.
If you’re on board, you’ll get to watch multiple live tapings of “Chewed Up” during the sailing, with the humor and friendship audiences came to love on “The Chew.”
Kardea Brown Is Throwing a Family Reunion at Sea
Kardea Brown will host “Kardea’s Family Reunion at Sea,” with music, dancing, games and storytelling. Tiffany Derry and Duff Goldman are also on the lineup.
Marcus Samuelsson is leading a conversation inspired by his newest cookbook, “Back to Green: Rediscovering a World of Delicious, Healthy Eating.” Robbie Felice and Giorgio Rapicavoli will take you behind the scenes of pop-up dining at “Pop-Up Confidential.”

Rapicavoli is also running “Chops-Fit,” a workout for all ages and experience levels. Joe Isidori is trading the kitchen for the DJ decks at one of the sailing’s Headphone Dance Parties, where you pick your music channel and hit the dance floor.
Before You Set Sail
Ray said she “can’t wait to join everyone onboard and enjoy some delicious food together.” If you’ve only seen this lineup on TV, the sailing gives you four nights to share meals and conversations with them and with fellow guests. Bring a good question about what they cook at home.
