Nothing beats a Blizzard Treat on a hot summer day. This year, grabbing one on July 30 does a little more than beat the heat.

Dairy Queen is bringing back Miracle Treat Day, and this time it’s got some serious star power behind it. Olympic gold medalist and figure skating legend Tara Lipinski is teaming up with DQ to spread the word, and the Savannah Bananas, the viral baseball team known for turning games into full-blown parties, are jumping in, too. Between Lipinski’s following and the Bananas’ massive online fanbase, this year’s push has a real shot at reaching people who’ve never heard of Miracle Treat Day before.

DQ isn’t new to this. The chain has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network for more than 40 years, and in that time, DQ locations have helped raise over $195 million for local children’s hospitals. That kind of track record is part of why the brand keeps finding new partners willing to lend their name to it each summer.

How Miracle Treat Day works

It’s simple: on Wednesday, July 30, 2026, DQ will donate $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating U.S. locations. That money goes straight to Children’s Miracle Network, which funds local children’s hospitals. Want to find a participating spot near you? Check the DQ app or their website.

The star power behind it

Lipinski says she’s glad to help highlight the work children’s hospitals do every day, and that something as simple as a Blizzard Treat can offer real support to families going through a hard time.

The Savannah Bananas are bringing their own energy to the cause. After visiting a Children’s Miracle Network hospital, players said the experience stuck with them, and outfielder Reese Alexiades called it a reminder of how much good a community can do together. The team’s whole brand is built on making people smile, so a cause like this one fits naturally into what they already do on and off the field.

So if you were already planning a Blizzard run this week, July 30 is the day to make it count. Swing by, order your favorite flavor, and know your treat is doing double duty.
