Diplo and Kaskade are coming to downtown Las Vegas next month, and so are Big Boi and The Fray. Neon City Festival won’t charge you a cent to see any of them.

Downtown Las Vegas casino owner Derek Stevens created Neon City Festival with support from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The festival is now in its third year, and the whole weekend is a thank-you to locals and visitors alike. “This year’s lineup brings together artists people have grown up listening to and new voices they may be discovering for the first time,” festival CEO Jeff Victor said.
4 Stages Across 5 Downtown Blocks
Neon City Festival runs Nov. 20-22 across five blocks of downtown Las Vegas. The festival has no fences and no tickets, and it’s open to all ages. Music plays on four stages: the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center and three stages along Fremont Street Experience.
The Headliners Worth Planning Your Weekend Around
Each night has three headliners. Here are two from every night to help you choose when to go.
- Diplo (Friday) won a Grammy as a DJ and producer, and his collaborations and festival anthems span more than two decades.
- Freddie Gibbs (Friday) pairs precise delivery with vivid storytelling on projects including “Piñata” and “Alfredo.”
- Subtronics (Saturday) delivers explosive bass drops and inventive sound design.
- The Fray (Saturday) plays emotionally driven anthems such as “How to Save a Life” and “You Found Me.”
- Kaskade (Sunday) has a Grammy nomination and dance favorites like “Atmosphere” and “Disarm You.”
- Big Boi (Sunday), one-half of Outkast, brings inventive wordplay and a blend of Southern hip-hop and soul.
Las Vegas Bands and DJs Fill Out the Bill
Las Vegas acts share the bill with the big names all weekend. Pure Sport, a local punk trio, performs with a playful corporate persona and its signature suit-and-tie “board meetings.”
The festival added two new partners this year. We The Beat has spent the past decade bringing artists to Las Vegas before most of the world knows them. Unity Events hosts a Saturday showcase of local and emerging DJs, including Marsik and VLITO.

Expect Local Food and Laser Shows, Too
Local restaurants and food vendors serve festivalgoers, and you’ll find food and drink specials too. The festival also has laser shows and pop-up art.
Look up while you’re on Fremont Street, where The Canopy at Fremont Street Experience shows neon visuals during the festival. The LED screen is 1,375 feet long and hangs 90 feet above the street.
Pick Your Night and Plan Your Parking
Additional artists, set times and full stage details are still to come, so check back before you lock in a night around your favorite headliner. The Fremont Street Experience Parking Garage at 111 S. Fourth St. sits just steps from the action, which makes it an easy option if you’re driving.
