Summer’s still here, but Dairy Queen isn’t waiting around for fall flavors. The chain just kicked off its cool-weather lineup, and it’s rolling out in two waves this month.

The new Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard blends cheesecake pieces and caramel apple topping into Dairy Queen’s soft serve, and it’s already August’s official Blizzard of the Month. It splits the difference between seasons, warm enough for ice cream, cozy enough for cheesecake and caramel apple to make sense in it.

There’s a second Blizzard in it for you this month
If you’re already stopping by, this is a good week for it. Rewards members can add a second Blizzard to any order for 99 cents through the DQ App, once a day, every day, through Aug. 30. It’s limited to participating locations, and you’ll need a Rewards account to see the offer, but it’s a low-effort way to try the new flavor and a classic in the same trip.

The complete fall lineup is coming soon
Dairy Queen’s bigger collection arrives at the end of the month, and it brings back a fan favorite alongside two new additions to the fall menu:
- Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat: Real pumpkin pie pieces mix into the soft serve, topped with whipped topping and a dusting of nutmeg. This is the one bringing back memories.
- Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Blizzard: Brown sugar cookie dough pieces and brown sugar topping blend into the soft serve, for anyone who wants dessert to taste like dessert.
- Toasted Marshmallow Mocha DQ Coffee Cooler: Cold brew blends with soft serve and finishes with cocoa fudge and whipped topping.
That’s the backup this year’s Pumpkin Pie Blizzard brought along, two new flavors riding along instead of showing up solo.
Ninety-nine cents is a low bar for trying something new, so grab that second Blizzard before August ends. Circle Aug. 31 too, because the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard’s return alone might be worth the wait.
