Need help with diabetic food
As an almost not diabetic again, I can tell you, these are good recipes. I am T2D, I was, 13 years ago, around 180kgs, and injecting insulin, I had a gastric sleeve surgery on the 13th of February 2012, became not diabetic again and lost a whole human or two. But life changed two-ish years later, and I started regaining, I didn’t get near what I was, but I was T2D again 😓 Then I discovered the carnivore diet, in the last 15 months I have lost around 40kg, and am almost back under 100kgs. I am more of a ketovore, because I just can’t cut onions, tomatoes, garlic or chillies completely. I just don’t have them all the time. My system tells me when I’ve stuffed up (quite spectacularly at times 🤣) and I go back to straight carnivore. My Dr knows I’m doing this, and is very impressed with my weightloss. I used to have red bands around my lower legs (ER Dr tried to tell me I had cellulitis one time after seeing them, been there, done that, laughed at him, I was actually there for abdominal pain, and ended up needing a hysterectomy) these are almost completely gone with just a small area on my shins still visible.
Sorry for my life story, but I love what this diet is doing to me, and I want to shout it to the rooftops 🤗
Hi sounds good. I can’t use any nuts so what kind of flour I can use with less carbs?
Thanks
